Wii Fit's Balance Board is an interesting thing. Very flexible. Yeah, for Nintendo it'll work for a fitness game, but the possibilities go waaay beyond that. EA would tell us you could skate. Or ski. Or even surf. Extremely. Square Enix? You'll never guess what they'd use it for. Never ever in a million billion years.

You might be right, but I think that the Wii fit controller will go places. Why? Because the Sega Activator was basically just making motions to push buttons. The Wii fit controller on the other hand is actually doing what you do on the controller. For example, when you're leaning to the right, you aren't pushing the B button, you're actually leaning to the right. I think this will make all the difference in the long run.
Besides, this gen's already shown us that some ideas were just ahead of there time. When the Wiimote was first released, it was compared a lot to the powerglove. I'm pretty sure the Power Glove hasn't had the level of success the Wii has.
