Wait, didn't we only just say Nintendo had sold five million Wiis in Japan? Scratch that. Make it six. And while you're at it, note that of those six million Wii owners, two million of them have already bought Wii Fit. Two million! In less than six months!

I'm not surprised at all. Wii Fit will shortly, if it hasn't already, overtake the PS3.
Think about that for a second, there is a bigger install base to aim for by making a game that uses the Wii balance board, with relatively little investment it has to be said, than there is in spending $10m-$20m making a game for the PS3.
In the long term, this may change but for now, Wii Fit will have incredibly long legs and the PS3 doesn't look like gaining any traction over there in the near future.[ Oracle ] [ Level 21 ] [ Rank: 291 ]bids
