@Just_Ben, After a single day there were 122k connections. Even if only half of those are unique connections it still means very good first day sales, when usually we see the entire first week with pretty good sales.
I would say the price should be closer to 24DKP based on the following assumptions:
122k connections = 60k sales for 1st day
for the following 6 days the game will sell an average of 30k sales, as we typically see during the first week after launch.
also I would wager a guess that the following week we'll see between 50-60% drop in sales from the first week, thats pretty typical as well, but I don't think that falls into this future.
Look at the others numbers. I don't think these are unique connection. It is still impressive and I upped my prediction by that, but the stock was up to 28 and i think it was to much. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think the 21 know is much more realistic.
Guitar Hero 3 (released on the 28th) already made the top 10 for Wi-Fi activity for the week ending on the 28th!
In a single day it had over 122,000 connections to Nintendo's online network. I'm not sure how many of those are duplicate connections, but it looks like the Wii version will see strong first week sales.
I agree with most of what your saying and it could do very well but I'm a bit skeptical at the moment so I'll just have to wait and see. At the moment though the stock doesn't see, to be doing to well.
