Devil May Cry 4 delivers an experience that is SECOND TO NONE ON XBOX 360, so far. Held together by a solid narrative, it makes your blood boil with every fight you encounter.
Capcom, has decided to show an amazing sense of righteousness, and will be pricing its upcoming Devil May Cry 4 at £29.99 in the UK. The catch -- it can only do this with the Xbox 360 version, as the PS3 price tag comes ten pounds more expensive at £39.99.
The price of GLS stock is even crazier (IMO). 1.9 Million WW for X360 ? While X360 strongest country is US and UK (but not other Europe country) ? I am a little bit sleepy now, so I will leave the explanation of why 1.9 Million is reasonable to those people who drove up the price from 1.7 to 1.9 in the last two days.
For those who are curious, DMC3 sales # in March 2005 NPD is < 270K, and that is on PS2, whose US LTD at that moment is around 27 Million.
How can anyone expect DMC4, on X360 whose US LTD at this moment is only 9 Million, to beat DMC3 first month # on PS2, the most successful console in US for all time ?
Your reasoning is correct. However, based on DMC3 first month performance in March 2005, on the PS2, I severely doubt that the X360 version can do 500K in first month.
Capcom confirmed today the release of a Devil May Cry 4 playable demo by announced that it will hit the PlayStation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace this Thursday, January 24, 2008.
Almost all high profile AAA games sold extremely well in their first months on X360. I think this game will sell ~ 500k in Feb.
Also it will release on Feb. 5th so it will have nearly a full month of availability in the Feb. NPD. At the current price, this is a really good investment IMO.
Capcom has not officially committed to a release date for the Devil May Cry 4 demo. However, the date appears to be revealed on Capcom's two official minisites, deceiverdeceived.com and betrayerbetrayed.com. One section of the minisites solicits fans to download a DMC4 widget to post on blogs or their own fan sites
I could not see these pictures but the site a found them on (not gamer.tm) people posted hapily about the pics . So im taking it that its my computer then?
We've played to the end as both Nero and Dante. Devil May Cry 4 keeps things interesting with its secret-filled levels. You'll be treated to a lot of fairly lengthy, well-acted cutscenes that are ridiculously packed with over-the-top, beautifully choreographed action. The game's looking beautiful - equally so on both Xbox 360 and PS3 - and assuming things don't change too much between now and the game's release date, Dante's fans should have a lot to look forward to in February
