Game Informer Magazine broke the first news on Devil May Cry 4 almost a year ago, and fans of the series are clamoring for any new information about the game. Unfortunately, even with E3 approaching, Producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi and the DMC team are remaining tight-lipped
"Surely the game must be out soon? Not so. Fans have a further nine months to wait until it finally emerges sometime in "Q1 2008", our Capcom rep regretfully informs us."
So there you have it Devil May Cry 4 won't be hitting store shelves until early 2008. The delay may well be because of the games new mulitplatform status, since Capcom also announced a simultaneous release on the PS3, Xbox360 and PC. Or it could be that Capcom are waiting for the PS3 user base to grow. Which ever reason, hopefully the wait will be appeased by Dante's and Nero's slick moves.
It's been six months since we received any details about Devil May Cry 4, Capcom's latest installment in the fast paced action franchise. We learned at TGS that a new character named Nero was taking the lead role of the title instead of Dante, and that his abilities will be somewhat different than the legendary Son of Sparda...
Either this stock is severely under priced right now, or the PS3 version is over priced. With the difference in instal bases between the two consoles it would be expected that the 360 version should have significantly higher sell through than the PS3 version. I understand that these are based on lifetime sales, However, it can't be argued that initial sales volume is an indicator of how well a title will sell over time. The more time that pases after a release generally the more dust that piles up on it and the less copies are sold, so expected initial sales volume should be an important factor when buying stock. That being said, whether the 360 version is on it's mark and the PS3 version is over valued or the opposite is true, something here doesn't add up.
pilias, any reason why you think the stock will rise in the future? What news do you know of will make Devil May Cry 4 (XBox 360) more likely to sell over 1.01 million copies?
Wow, this stock seems to be a good deal to me, even if it doesn't actually perform that well chances are really good that this stock will rise a good deal in the near future.
fiasco8, I think we are in agreement. What I meant by Sony's sinking ship was the weaker perception of the PS3 product compared to the Xbox 360. If the Xbox 360 wasn't in the running, then Sony wouldn't have a sinking ship because even though it is losing to the Wii, it'd be the only console for high-end graphics games.
