Pokemon is number one on the all-time most valued stock, so people are more focused on it than they are on other DS games. Once it comes out I'm sure it will stop taking so much of the limelight, and people will start to focus on Phantom Hourglass again. So it would be smart to buy now.
[edit] Powertrade, I agree with you that Zelda:TP did not sell as well as some thought it would, though, over the long run it may end up selling a lot.
Also, Children of Mana comes from a series that isn't known for its consistency in generating quality titles, were as most of the handheld Zelda games has been great, if not classic (that includes the great Oracle of Ages/Seasons). With that pedigree I wouldn't start comparing the quality of Zelda:PH to Children of Mana in any regard (though I have a feeling this wasn't your intent).
I agree with you that this game is undervalued as of now and I remain optimistic that this game will have time to gain momentum. With Japan's obsession with the DS, even if this is an okay game, if it is polished enough-coming from Nintendo this is almost assured-it will sell.

Gaara, those are good points, but there are however numerous failures in big name franchises translating to DS. For example, Children of Mana, that game is a flop. Taking a big name and putting it on DS is no way a guaranteed success.
Also take a look at the sales of Zelda: TP, they aren't nearly as good as people had expected. There was an article submitted here that said the franchise looks dead in Japan.
However, I do see potential in this game and think the stock is undervalued (my opinion) and I am long the stock.
New Super Mario Bros. sold over 6 million copies, which is huge and its not even done yet. Pokemon Diamond/Pearl have sold just under 5 million. The DS has become a monster, Dragon Quest Monster for the DS has already sold over 1 million copies, consider a main game in a series like Zelda.
This will sell most likely around 4 million over its lifetime, especially since the DS still has lots of room to grow and if Nintendo plays its cards right this game could use the sheer number of DS's out there to sell.
I am really hoping Nintendo starts to release more information on this game, because as of now it seems to hold a lot of promise but Nintendo should start the hype machine earlier rather than later.
