Fable 2's combat and canines aren't going to be the only next-gen things about the game. Developer Lionhead also wants to replace the tired old "Arseface" insult that villagers yell at the hero when they hate him. They've turned to their community of loyal fans (yes, you!) for a replacement on their official blog.
"The 'big Microsoft first-party title' that is 97% sure to be canceled? It's not Fable 2. Similar to the responses that Remedy and Rare provided on the non-canceled status of Alan Wake and Banjo Threeie, a Lionhead programmer and the team's community manager have assuaged fan fears that the Molyneux-led role-playing game has been shuttered. 'No, we are not cancelled,' wrote a Lionhead staffer on the official community forums."
"The annual Child's Play Fundraiser Dinner Auction isn't just a great way to make a contribution to society, it's also the easiest way to buy your way into a supporting role in Lionhead's Fable 2."
For future article submissions, try to actually summarize the article or at least give some idea what it's about. Don't just take the first line from the article and paste it in...actually give readers an idea as to what the article is about so we don't have to click through to see what it's about. You'll get more upbids if you can post important news and sumarize it for us...rather than posting one-sentence cut/paste jobs that tell us nothing.
Also, make sure you choose the proper place for the articles. For one referencing a PS3 game you put it under the PC version...for another talking about Xbox Live you posted it under Fable 2 instead of the 360 console (or even Microsoft).
One last thing, don't post a dozen stories from a single source (in your case, 1up). It looks like (to some) that you're just picking random stories from a single website and spamming this site for DKP. Try to grab stories from a variety of sites.
But my intentions were to just post intresting reads. Next time ill refrain from posting really old stuff unless its so intresting where as i just cant help it.
Although this isn't "news," I do think it is interesting for people who want to get more background about the game. The simExchange doesn't require these to be breaking news--the content is called "Articles." I think people may just be downbidding shrimpjuice because he/she is posting several at a time and some of it is aged...but I think that is fine if the articles are in fact useful to someone.
