The dog days of Fable 2. At his GDC speech "Innovations in Fable 2," Lionhead's Peter Molyneux extended on what he spoke about way back at X06 -- love.
Future really is a relative term, isn't it? Via Lionhead's official site, the folks behind Fable 2 let slip that the game will take place "roughly 500 years after the original Fable and Fable: The Lost Chapters ended.
Evil Avatar has the press release announcing that the always-interesting brain behind such titles as Fable and Black and White has been officially recognized and honored by the French government.
There is another very big milestone coming up, this one is one of the bigger ones. The whole design team, Peter included, are now practically fleshing out the final bits left and right. This fine-tuning is obviously a slow process and will go on for some time, as it is now an important part of our development process.

Molyneux: Ugliness will affect your chances of getting together with someone, and your wife and children will notice and comment on your scars, but your dog will not care!
