People have been opposed to just delaying the same future to the following month because conditions for the future are different (different slate of competitors, possible different length for the retail month, etc.) In the past we have rolled back the delayed month future and issued a new future (such as in the case of Haze).
@Just_Ben, There goes our future. I wonder if NPD would allow us to only request data for 9 titles in March and carry this one's current predictions over to April and get data for 11 titles in April.
In laying out its release lineup for the first half of the year in mid January, Nintendo gave the game's fervent following happy tidings, marking Okami for release on March 25. However, that reveal now appears to have been premature, as Capcom has today confirmed to GameSpot that Okami's prowl has been postponed three weeks to April 15.Capcom gave no explanation as to why the game was delayed.
"Based on our hands-on time with the game, the Wii port will be as much of an award-winner as the original when it hits Nintendo's box this spring.
Whether the millions of casual gamers will take to the Zelda-style adventuring is another question entirely. The game may be pretty, but it's also a hardcore experience. Long cut-scenes and sometimes infrequent saves mean that gamers will have to be committed."
Last week, Capcom stated on their company store that Okami on Wii would be running at 16:9. Why is this important? Because the PS2 version did not, and if the Wii version did, it'd be a very valid reason for many to go out and buy the same game twice. Turns out that the game doesn't really run at 16:9, however. IGN sat down with it the other day and found it actually sports:

No new march future, this one will just "moved" to April, meaning 9 futures in march, 11 in April. At least thats what happened in the past.
