@Gaara42, "generic FPS"(first person shooter), first of all this is a third person co-op cover based shooter that has had relatively positive previews from various gaming press organizations, in which everything is designed to be co-op from co-op specific actions such as co-op sniping and rappeling and even the online is designed for two-man teams. So, no offense but you have to get your facts straight.
"he good news is, the developers in Montreal have been using the extra few months of production time to examine what was already essentially a completed game to see how they could improve it."
Electronic Arts invited TeamXbox to visit to its Northern California headquarters today to take a look at the near-final Army of Two. Executive Editor Tom Price and Contributing Editor Andy Eddy suited up and went through all the drills that EA threw at us.
EA Montreal weren't happy. With a Christmas release pending, there was just something about Army of Two that didn't sit right with them. Thankfully, after talks with the powers up top at EA Towers, the team behind this third-person shooter was given an extra couple of months to hone and perfect its product. Eager to show off the latest refinements as the game teeters on the cusp of release, the developer invited us to spend some quality time with the latest code. Naturally, we accepted...
"It's been led on Xbox 360 and we put it on the PS3. It's because we have more experience in that medium. The PS3 is fairly new with a lot of development stuff. But as far as the gameplay goes on both consoles it's the same. There are no differences."
Army of Two vs. Conflict: Denied Ops. Which one will be a better co-op experience? my money is on Army of Two. anything where I can shove a tampon into my friends bullet has to be good Right?
About the tampon plugging bullet wounds, have you perhaps read John Ringo's book "Ghost" ? There is a mention of tampon plugging bullet wounds in that book, used by SEAL. Of course, I don't know whether that book is serious or not :D
Army of Two throws gamers into hot spots ripped from current day headlines where they will utilize unique two-man strategies and tactics while seamlessly transitioning between playing with intelligent Partner AI (PAI) and a live player. When one man is not enough, it will take an army of two to fight through war, political turmoil and a conspiracy so vast it threatens the entire world.
