"Electronic Arts Inc (ERTS.O: Quote, Profile, Research), the world's biggest video game publisher, said on Monday it will delay "Army of Two" to early next year, saying it needed more time to polish the military combat game."
Chris Ferriera, lead designer of Army of Two, talks about what sets Army of Two apart from the competition in a lengthy interview (4 pages). The interview covers such topics as the premise of the game, co-op, the themes in the game (politics, etc.) and what stuff was cut from the game.
Til this gets to 1.5m expected, I think this thing can move up. A coop game with good graphics, rather good trailers thus far, and what looks like fun gameplay(with lots of customization), and you've got everything you need for a good hit. And with EA's marketing muscle and the late 2007 date, it could easily catch tons of sales.
