Not sure if anyone else had noticed, but it appears that 2K is spending pretty big bucks to give this excellent game a nice holiday sales push. Of course anyone with their heads outside of their rear orifice has purchased and played it already, but then there's the folks who wait for the holidays! I only bring this up because I saw BioShock commercials numerous times on several of the prime time Sunday football games, which ain't cheap space for 2K!! Leads me to believe they think their baby still has some legs!

Publisher 2K Games sends word that a few BioShock patches will be released next week, in addition to a free downloadable content pack for the hit game.
2K community manager Elizabeth Tobey tells Shacknews that the DLC will at least include extra plasmids for players to mess around with, a way to disable Vita-Chambers for hardcore play, and bug fixes.
Rumors based on Gamasutra job listings and 'informed sources' say that a good chunk of the Bioshock team hated working with Ken Levine so 2K allowed them to set up a new studio for Bioshock 2 while Ken works on 'Project X'
"Please don't tell me you made an account just for this question", said a clearly frustrated representative on the official 2K Games forums. "There will be no PS3 version of BioShock. It has been explained time and time again."
According to a jobseeker message 2K Boston is looking for an experienced Senior Console Programmer. In the bottom of the message it says "Experience with PS3 development is highly desirable". Now could this mean they are working on a title for the PS3?
