The Collector’s Edition of the Age of Conan game is now sold out in all markets. Over 110.000 copies were produced. The CE edition is also sold out in most retail chains, but the CE version may still be found on shelves in some stores. Age of Conan servers merging, stock hits 2 year low

Joystiq.com - September 30, 2008

Submitted by vGInfidel (150) at 7:46AM PST on September 30, 2008

An MMOG's health is indicated by its server numbers, which means AoC is currently ailing. Funcom's new Game Director for AoC, writes on the game's forums that server merging, in both Europe and NA, will soon occur. AoC did have 700,000 players, but that was when the game first shipped and players had a free trial month with the purchase. Funcom investors also seem to be looking for the nearest exit. The company's stock is currently trading at $5, that's down $50 from before AoC shipped.

Gamespy gives 4/5

Age of Conan as it stands today is a very enjoyable stew of wild bloodshed, sweaty decadence and the panicked realization that you've just gotten jumped by a group from an enemy guild. Age of Conan going forward should become a delightfully savage second home for plenty of howling on-line barbarians.
