Alpha, I hope you're right. I mean, Pokemon ALWAYS sells extremely well, and given the popularity of both the DS and Wii right now, you'd have to imagine that Diamond/Pearl and Battle Revolution would do very, very well considering the DS/Wii connectivity. And since Battle Revolution (http://www.thesimexchange.com/pending_game.php?id=46) is the first fully online Wii title, I'd have thought there'd be more interest.
I think this is a side effect of having many "fan boy" type users (actual gamers) rather than objective observers of the video game industry. This will probably go away as the user base grows--more diverse gaming interests and more people with an objective outlook on the gaming industry.
I've noticed the Pokemon hate too. Odd as they seem like perfectly viable games to me. A lot of people seem too tied to what they personally like or plan to purchase in the exchange rather than what can be expected to do well. Maybe that is the problem.
Gamer_Anthony, I'm not sure why, but after looking at both your Pokemon submissions and my own Pokemon Battle Revolution submission, it seems that anything with 'Pokemon' in the title will automatically be voted down...
