@Gaara42, I only collect data of Top 10 player, and only some of them. I only collect 2 player data currently, and that 2 fulfill at least one of these criterias : - networth higher than me (since I'm #3, means #1 & #2) - bigger growth than me (monthly gain as percentage or absolute amount is bigger than me). Even for those 2 player, I didn't collect all data all the time. I only do this when I have free time and feel like doing it (means have nothing else to do).
Gain from collecting data : nothing directly. Indirectly : learning when to move in or move out of a stock, how to manage better my investment, when I should stop doing something (long or short). It always pay to try to learn something from someone better than you.
@zukaus, I missed your reply, so didn't reply earlier. I apologize that I make a wrong assumption about you. I misread your post, and reply to something that wasn't what you meant.
I never once said that I wasn't actively trading this stock. I don't know why you would infer that from my comments. However, you are absolutely wrong in assuming that "Someone is driving down the price of this stock every time it reached 5.3 DKP, and that someone is zukaus."
There are more people here than just the top 10 and even if you feel they aren't significant, they still have more than enough money to move a stock. Perhaps you should expand your data mining to include the top 100-200 traders so you can stop scratching your head.
@apujanata, You know what the creepiest thing about that is? It's not that you've gathered all that data about zukaus, it's that you actually thought it would be a good idea to post it here. As if it's the most normal thing in the world.
@zukaus, If I am wrong assuming that you are still actively trading in this stock, I apologize. I can only scratch my head at the fact that the data I gathered is wrong.
I believe that you are not the only seller here, but you are the only significant seller in the Top 10 (significant holding of stock that it show up on your public profile), as of my post.
I wouldn't really know what you are doing (since I couldn't peek into your account), but the data I have gathered seems to point that you have big short on them. Let me share the datas with you (please note that the data could be wrong, even though I have tried my best to minimize error) :
Your short investment on it peaked out around October 25, 2008, and bottomed out around Dec 27, 2008. However, there is a sharp increase of your short again in the last few months, and currently your short of this stock 2.2 million unit, a sharp increase from April 2, which is only 953K unit.
Note about the data : I only take data on the dates mentioned above. I don't take data on other dates, so it is entirely possible that your previous short of it was 3 Million, and have gone down to 2.2 Million.
@Demon_Gaara007, Don't forget that VGC have been known for their "big margin of error".
Someone is driving down the price of this stock every time it reached 5.3 DKP, and that someone is zukaus (there might be others involved, but I am not sure about that, since I am too lazy to search for them).
I personally believe (no supporting evidence, just a hunch) that 6K should be the minimum price, with maximum pegged at 8K. I believe that most of the sales would be made at big discount price, since this game failed, hard.
