We've put in some serious hours reviewing this game, and after several exhaustive playthroughs both solo and co-op as well as countless bloodthirsty multiplayer rounds, we can announce that Halo 3 is everything that it needed to be to fulfill our wildest gaming fantasies...

It looks like the packaging that the halo3 limited edition shipped in has caused some disc's to pop off the spindle and shake around during shipping.

I'm no action figure enthusiast, but the Halo and Halo 2 action figures produced by Joyride Studios seemed especially...round, like large happy meal toys that cost double-digit dollars and without fries. Luckily, McFarlane Toys is coming to the rescue next spring with an all-new line of action figures and die cast vehicles based on Halo 3 for the Xbox 360.

"Look for the signs, the keepers of the flame" That's the subject line of the email blasted out early this morning from "Xbox Flash". Checking the web-hosted version, the page is identified as "Forerunner Email". You don't have to be a rocket scientist (or a Halo fanboy) to deduce that we're in the middle of some clever marketing for Microsoft's upcoming FPS, but to what end?

It's now been reported that Jackson expects renewed interest from Hollywood studios 20th Century Fox and Universal Pictures once the 360-exclusive launches on September 26. Apparently the filmmakers pulled out after Universal and Fox unsuccessfully tried to get the filmmakers and Microsoft to reduce their cut of the profits
