The Legendary Map Pack will feature three new multiplayer environments: Ghost Town, Avalanche and a third, unannounced location. The pack will be 800 Microsoft Points (US $10) and is scheduled to hit the Xbox Live Marketplace on April 15.

Microsoft sent a PR today summarizing their last week in the videogame business: $300 million of raw product sales and more than double the number of Xbox 360s sold compared to the week before. Unsurprisingly, this officially makes it the fastest-selling game ever, not to mention one of the most successful entertainment properties in the world. Not bad for 7 days work.

You can get the Halo 3 Legendary Edition from Amazon for $60, but you'd better do it fast as the offer is valid for today only. For those with foggy memories, we should probably note that the Legendary Edition is normally $130, so this is quite a steal.
