Agreed. Microsoft paid $50m for the "exclusive content" but that $50m sure as hell includes marketing. From a PR point of view, the PS3 version isn't going to exist. I think MS see it as that important.
@deftangel, the PS3 stock is probably more overvalued than the 360 stock considering it's a good 60-70% of the value of the 360 stock at any given time yet PS3 games do not tend to do quite that well compared to 360 games and considering the 360 version has exclusive content.
I also find it funny that the assumption is being made based on price that the market share for this game will grow with this title to the best the franchise has ever seen, despite it being on consoles that have a significantly smaller install base.
This seems like a very volatile stock... and it's back to a huge DKP (1112+)... short? Or will this simply be one of those stocks that we have to wait until release to get realistic numbers.
I posted my bullets from the Microsoft Blogger Breakfast the other day and some info about GTAIV was taken out of context…well sort of. People are claiming that Microsoft announced the game would be as big as Vice City/San Andreas. I posted comments on some of the bullets and putting 2 and 2 together I came up with some facts and opinion on GTAIV.
deftangel, Just want to let you know that the article link you submitted contains an extra 'http//' which prevents the site from linking. You can correct it by editing the article.
@deftangel,Maybe they should have an option to submit gallery, and the link would just take you to the gallery on the host site, saving time and reducing spamming.
I find it hard to post images in that section as most sites have hot linking blocks in place meaning you have to save a thumbnail to Photobucket etc, link every single one. It's very time consuming. It would be nice to have a better way of sorting and browsing media (both images & videos) but admittedly it's not an easy problem to solve. Of course, I wouldn't want or expect TSE to become a media site either.
@deftangel,Thanks this is much better than spamming the image section with a page full of look alike screens. (Although some noob will probably do that anyways)
