GTA IV was shown to reporters behind closed doors running on a XBOX 360 and involved a car-jacking and use of the much vaunted cellphone. The game remains very much a work-in-progress as final graphics, voice-overs and framerate issues have yet to be resolved.

Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. said Thursday it reached settlements in all class action lawsuits regarding its "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" video game.

Today, though, came a flurry of reports that raised the prospect that the game might slip yet again from its Q2 2008 window. The reports stem back to Gamesindustry.biz's summation of a presentation at yesterday's 2007 BMO Capital Markets Interactive Entertainment Summit in New York City.
