@vGInfidel, I see your point in posting it twice (not that I technically agree with it though). Maybe with the upcoming refresh of content sharing on the simExchange as stated by KultofCows, we can see a feature that will allow an article that deals with a multiplatform game be able to show-up on all the different platform listings for that title with only having to submit the article once (of course a choice would be allowed for posting it on just one in the case of the article only having to do with one of the platforms).
somehow i knew that would happen but the way i see it, its relevant to both platforms and if someone doesnt use the community tab to view all threads (like me normally) and only views the posts under the game listing then they wont see it. if you dont like it dont upbid me or only bid on one theres no need for downbids im only trying to help.
@vGInfidel,There is no need to post this article twice. You can just put in title that there is no demo for either console if you don't think it is obvious. Also the link is messed up.
There won't be a GTA 4 demo, Rockstar has told VideoGamer.com.
When asked if there will be a demo Rockstar replied: "I'm sure there won't be. If there was we would have talked about it. With a game like this the guys at Rockstar North will want to spend every minute making the game look great. Most people know the concept of GTA anyway. I don't know that the demo is worth the time and effort."
This is an overpriced game. Do people really think the PS3 version, the version that is not going to get as much advertising and lacks DLC will get only 1 million fewer sales than the 360 version?
Collectively these two stocks are saying that somehow the franchise is going to grow by a significant % on top of it being on a smaller install base. This is stupidly overpriced at 800 DKP.
people are buying this simply because they see San Andreas sales figures of well above 10million (13-14million i believe) and think it will achieve the same regardless of other factors, such as not enough ps3's being sold yet as the main one. realistically if they looked at Liberty City figures they maybe could revise their estimate and the price would lower.
i will try and gather all the figures of the last 3 games sales and the repsective ps2's sold some point later today and post them up, so hopefully people can be better informed.
I think the worst part about the over-valuations is that they aren't getting any better after release. Over the next two months we'll see if this changes (looking primarily at GTA4, SSBB) but if it stays the same, then it'll really remove any desire to look at lifetime stocks.
Interestingly, PC stocks aren't acting this way. When indications came in of pathetic N.American sales, they plummeted, and they also rebounded when European sales turned out to be much higher than expected. Contrast that to console stocks that don't seem to budge, or gently trend upwards lately. Perhaps I'm just impatient and the stocks will correct in a few months, I don't seem to see any major over-valuation in older stocks...is it because people lose interest and the stocks become more mobile?
