i dont quite see how you can invest that little in each stock, i mean when i see a stock i want to invest in i put pretty much my full weight behind it going into the millions fairly quickly. although i am going to change this approach (and have been changing) because pulling out of a stock becomes very difficult as doing so in Mario Kart DS/Wii and CoD4 on PS3 the past week has proved. even still i will normally put at least 500k behind a stock, otherwise i see little point in doing it.
i remember the April Wii futures IPO Phase 2 put it at around 25dkp which was ridiculously low, i remember this because i capitalised on it fully buying up to my margin at a very low price as soon as Phase 2 ended and free trading began, i made about an 80% return on it within a few days :)
145,000 to be exact, couldn't get the last 5000 since 40 was my buy in barrier and someone constantly brought it higher than that. We will see soon enough who is right :) I personal hope more that FF:CC falls short on expectation. Due the current price i have arround 8 Million invested.
@Mushashi, Yep. If you really wanted to 'hide' your positions, you could take a position just below when it appears on your profile, but there is no reason to 'hide' your position. The system used to display all of a user's positions, but that included even if you had only 1 stock of a title, and so the current displays only the significant positions.
So zukaus may have many more positions than his public profile shows because his networth is so high, he only has a long position on FF7: CC, it must be worth millions of DKP :-)
@vGInfidel, I have a very diverse portfolio with many smaller positions in a larger number of games, but I do have a good handful of stocks with over 120k investments. I have decided on my end that future investments of mine will be over 100k at the very least though as I move to utilize more of my purchasing and selling power. Though, if I see a really good deal, I will not hesitate to take a large position in it (my Wii April Future purchase was at the low price of less than 30DKP).
i know that Just_Ben is fairly heavily invested in Army of Two(360) March future, he had about 90,000 stock when i checked a couple of weeks ago and thats probably increased alot. Lots hope we're right and can take all his money :P, or he takes all our money :(
so you must have really small positions in them then because on my profile even though ive got nearly 12million net worth, a 150k investment still shows up on my profile. i prefer to take risks really, i mean its only a game after all and if you fail you can come back again which is why i tend to be much heavily invested on just a few stocks instead of spreading it around, that and i cant be bothered to research large amounts of games, i just go with my gut and limited figures. not that sensible but its worked for me this far, might change in about 3 hours though :)
I took a small short position on Army of Two yesterday, another user must be quite sure of big sales for this as I lost money in a short time after my sells as price increased from my sell price.
@vGInfidel, I tend to be conservative in my trading - though I have steadily been taking larger positions (such as expanding my short on Mario Kart Wii at the beginning of the week and expanding my short of Gears of War 2 GLS). Not as large of returns with conservative trading, but I rarely post a loss at the end of the day. The profile is made to only show positions that are a certain percentage of your networth.

But my 3 mil of FF:CC:RoF shorted @ 10.78 is happy :D
