@shrimpjuice, Easy way to make sure you don't duplicate articles is to view the most recent articles just before you submit and you can also click on the game for the article and check the most recent on that too. For submitting games, do a search in the top right box, but try a few different names because its not the best search engine.
I think you would've submitted upbids for your article if you had mentioned how it talks about MS offering to replace the discs for free. It's okay to find similar articles if they still contribute something new. Infact you could edit the article now.
Walmart Canada is lowering the PS3 80GB price to $549 CDN starting this Friday for their Anniversary sale...I'm thinking that when the sale is done it will go to the $599 price to be inline with the US.
Why should it? If they shipped out 10 million would you assume they'll all be sold? Could just be an effort to keep the shelves full or so that they don't have to do any shipping over the next 2 months.
Besides that 4 million number is likely international, not just US.
Interestingly, while new games have been closer in price (about 10% more than the US price because the CDN dolar was at 90 cents US for a while), old games are still priced higher.
For instance, new DS games sold for about $34 while old DS games (2 years old) are still priced at $45.
Not that price will be a huge issue for this game's fans but Walmart Canada has just committed to selling it at price parity with the US (since the CDN $ is worth basically the same as a US dollar now).
....I think you'll see this happen on the hardware side soon too....
I was reading somewhere that M$ was shipping 4 million. If this is true, do you think they will sell out? this will have an affect on the Sept. Future for H3.
